Jeanmarie is motivated by the opportunity to improve other people’s lives through technology. She currently advocates for human-centered design in her role at Appfolio, where she is leading the design for a 0-1 Affordable Housing Product. Previously, Jeanmarie served for several SF-based ed-tech and civic-tech organizations, like Code For America, where she led the design of an app for justice-impacted communities. 

She earned her BA from UC Santa Barbara and M.Ed from the University of Southern California and is the founder of the civic-tech nonprofit, Code For Santa Barbara. She enjoys hiking weekly, being outside as much as she can, and reading tons of books!
